On Saturday February 9, 2019 the annual Howard County Brain Bee was held a Howard Community College. The Brain Bee is a knowledge bowl contest focused on Neurobiology. Gabrielle Aidam, an Animation & Interactive Media II student at the ARL, received two Gold Key awards in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Newly certified students of the Automotive Technology Career Academy have recently achieved national recognition by passing the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Entry-Level certification exam.
